FAQ

Questions clients ask

Answers on scheduling, pricing, and how the work gets done, from the owner. If yours isn't here, text or call.

Booking and scheduling

How do I get a quote?

Text or call me at (406) 249-4107, whichever's easiest. I'll set up a time to come out, look at the job, and get you a number. Estimates are free.

How soon can you get out?

Usually within a week. In the busy season I'm sometimes booked out about two weeks, so reach out a little ahead if you can.

Do I need to be home?

For an estimate or most exterior work, no, you don't need to be there. For interior window cleaning I'll need you (or someone) to let me in, though plenty of my regulars are fine having me in the house when they're away. Whatever you're comfortable with.

What areas do you cover?

Most of my work is in Bozeman, Belgrade, Gallatin Gateway, and Four Corners. For the right job I'll travel farther: Livingston, Big Sky, Manhattan, Three Forks, Ennis. Just ask.

Do you work in winter?

I can usually still clean windows through the winter, weather permitting. Roof cleaning, gutters, house washing, and pressure washing are warm-season work, spring through fall. If you're not sure, reach out and I'll figure out timing with you.

On the day

Do I need to do anything to prepare?

Not really. I work around your home as it is. If it's easy to clear a few breakables off interior sills, that's a bonus, but it's never a problem if you don't.

Do you need access to my water and power?

Yes. I'll use an outdoor spigot and a power outlet for most jobs. As long as those are available, I'm set.

Pricing and payment

How do you price your work?

Every job is quoted individually. It comes down to things like size, access, and how dirty things are. That's why I come out and look at the job before I give you a number. Estimates are always free.

How and when do I pay?

I take cash, check, Venmo, or card (online through Stripe). Payment is due once the job's done.

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes. Book window cleaning together with a house wash and I'll knock something off. Bundling services into one visit usually saves you money.

The work

Do you clean inside windows too?

Yes. A full window cleaning covers inside and out, plus screens and tracks. I can also do exterior-only, or occasionally interior-only.

How often should I have this done?

Depends on the service: windows once or twice a year (spring and fall are ideal), gutters once a year in the fall, and a house wash about once a year or every other year. Roof cleaning is more as-needed. I'll tell you what your place actually needs and skip what it doesn't.

Is soft washing safe for my roof?

Yes. For moss and algae I use a gentle, low-pressure soft wash with a non-bleach solution, then finish with a zinc treatment on the ridge to slow regrowth. It's the only method I use on a roof.

Will pressure washing damage my siding?

No. I keep the wand back at a distance that cleans the siding and nothing more. For heavier buildup I add a cleaning solution to do the lifting.

Trust and safety

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, licensed and insured. I can send proof if you'd like it.

Are your cleaning products safe around my plants, pets, and kids?

Used the way I use them, yes. I'm careful about what I apply and where. They're cleaning products, not something you'd want to drink, but they're not a hazard to your yard or your family in normal use.

What if I'm not happy with the work?

I back everything with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If something isn't right, tell me and I'll make it right.

Do you do commercial or rental properties?

Yes. I work with homeowners, property managers, rental agencies, and storefronts. I can set up a recurring schedule and cover several services in one visit.
