These questions come up in texts and driveways all the time, and the answers below come from the owner. Anything not covered here gets answered fastest by a text.
Getting on the schedule
How do I get an estimate?
Text or call (406) 249-4107. Most of the time I'll come out, look the job over, and give you a price on the spot. For some jobs I can put a number together from photos or the satellite view instead. Either way the estimate costs nothing.
How soon can the work happen?
Usually within a week of reaching out, sometimes two. Scheduling is flexible and by appointment, so a specific day or window is usually workable.
Do I need to be home?
Not for estimates or exterior work. Interior window cleaning needs someone to let me in, though many regular clients just leave a door open for me and go about their day. It's whatever you're comfortable with.
What areas do you cover?
Bozeman, Belgrade, Gallatin Gateway, and Four Corners make up most of my routes. Livingston, Big Sky, Manhattan, Three Forks, Ennis, and nearby are all doable by request.
Do you work in the winter?
Windows, yes, weather permitting. Gutters, roofs, house washing, and pressure washing run in the warm season, spring through fall.
The day of the job
Should I do anything before you arrive?
No. If clearing a few breakables off the interior sills is easy, it saves a little time, but I work around whatever is there.
What do you need from the house?
An outdoor spigot and a power outlet cover it. If both work, I'm set.
Prices, payment, and discounts
How is the price set?
Job by job. Size, access, and condition all move the number, which is why I like to see the job before quoting it. The estimate itself is free.
When and how do I pay?
After the work is done. Cash, check, Venmo, or card through Stripe all work.
Any discounts?
Three kinds: a discount for bundling services into one visit, 5% off for veterans, and seasonal specials I run from time to time.
How the work is done
Is the inside of the windows included?
In a full clean, yes: interior glass, exterior glass, screens, and tracks. Exterior-only is also available, and interior-only comes up now and then.
How often should each service happen?
Windows once or twice a year, with spring and fall the best times. Gutters once a year, or twice if you have a lot of trees. A house wash about yearly, and a roof when it needs it. If you'd like a read on your gutters or roof, I'm glad to climb up and take a look.
What do you put on a roof?
For moss and algae, a low-pressure soft wash with a non-bleach solution, finished with zinc powder along the ridge to slow the growth from coming back. That's the only wash I use up there.
How do you wash siding?
With a pressure washer, the wand held well back from the surface. Where the buildup is heavier, a siding solution goes on first to loosen it before the rinse.

Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Ridge to Valley is a Montana LLC with liability insurance, and the paperwork is available whenever you want it.
Are the products safe around plants, pets, and kids?
Used the way I use them, yes. I pay attention to what I'm applying and where, and in normal use nothing I work with poses a hazard to a yard or a family.

Do you take commercial or rental properties?
Yes. Property managers, rental agencies, and storefronts are regular clients, and a recurring schedule covering several services per visit is easy to set up.
