Roof cleaning in Bozeman
Two different jobs, depending on what your roof needs: debris cleared off, or moss and algae soft washed away. Ridge to Valley does whichever one yours calls for.
Two jobs, one roof
Debris removal
The common one. Leaves and pine needles blown, swept, or pulled off by hand, then collected and hauled away. Left in place, that buildup traps moisture against the roof and leads to rot over time. Often handled as an add-on to a fall gutter job, since the ladder is already up.
Moss, algae, and lichen
A soft wash: low pressure and a gentle, non-bleach solution that lifts the growth off, finished with a zinc treatment along the ridge. As the zinc washes down over time, it helps keep the moss and algae from coming back. It's the only wash Ridge to Valley puts on a roof.
Any roof works: asphalt shingle, metal, cedar shake, and the rest. The type can affect the price, and that's it.
When to do it
As needed
Roofs don't run on a schedule. They get cleaned when they need it, and the estimate visit will tell you whether yours does.
Prevention built in
The zinc treatment doesn't just clean what's there today. It helps keep moss and algae from growing back.
Nothing to prep
Nothing needed on your end, and you don't need to be home.
